4-Way PVC Fitting

4-Way PVC fittings, also known as side-outlet tees, look precisely like a standard plumbing-grade PVC tee with three sockets at 90° angles along the same plane; however, they have an additional fourth socket that reaches out of from the top. This extra socket allows a supplementary connection plane to create more complex structures. With this extra port, you can connect up to four different pipe lengths at a central point to add dimension to your structure and design.

FORMUFIT 4-Way Connectors are manufactured in the United States from 100% American sourced Furniture Grade PVC resin and are designed specifically for structural use and PVC projects.

These fittings use engineered resins that give ultraviolet (UV) resistance and are resilient against sunlight deterioration. As a result, FORMUFIT side outlet tees are roughly five times more shatter-resistant than standard plumbing-grade or imported PVC tees. This UV protection guarantees that these fittings will retain their color and structural integrity for decades, thanks to the top-quality UV-blocking compounds integrated into the resins.

With tapered ends and a smooth, ultra-gloss shine for a thoroughly professional finish, FORMUFIT, 4-Way PVC Tees are manufactured from rigid structural grade PVC material. They maintain a smooth, shiny white surface and have a bright white or bold color. There are no manufacturer marks, barcodes, embossments, labels, or blemishes on any 4-Way Furniture Grade PVC fittings to give a clean, uniform, and professional appearance.

All FORMUFIT 4-Way Tees are flow-through parts, but they are typically used for creating PVC projects and structures. While our products do not have National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) rating for potable water applications, they are manufactured to Schedule 40 thicknesses and will tolerate the same pressures as plumbing fittings. While not suggested for plumbing use, 4-Way Tees are frequently implemented for other pressurized fluid applications, such as irrigation, aquaponics, and aquarium use.

Four-way Furniture Grade PVC connectors are great for building layouts for jobs such as shelving, pet agility equipment, school science projects, PVC crafts, DIY projects, garden implements and medical equipment, training gear, and more. Since they fit externally over PVC pipe, FORMUFIT 4-Way Side Outlet Tees are compatible with Schedule 40, Schedule 80, and Class 200 (Thinwall) size PVC pipes. However, they are not compatible with CTS (Copper Tube Size) PVC pipe.

FORMUFIT 4-Way Furniture fittings are quickly joined via press-to-fit, slip-socket insertion. They can be permanently connected to PVC pipe by using PVC cement/solvent to form a fusion weld.
