Build a PVC Tablet and Phone Stand

Tablets and phones have become essential parts of our daily lives — whether at home, work, or school. Yet, when watching YouTube, streaming your favorite shows, or following a recipe, there’s always that moment when you’re looking for a stable spot to set your device down.

PVC Tablet Stand - Landscape PVC Tablet Stand in Landscape Orientation

Most of us have improvised — using a tape measure, coffee mug, or tissue box to prop up our devices — only to have them slide away or topple over. That’s why FORMUFIT created a free PVC Tablet and Phone Stand plan, so you can build your own durable stand using simple, affordable PVC pipe and fittings.

This project is quick, low-cost, and ideal for anyone tired of flimsy plastic stands that break easily. With just a few PVC pieces, you’ll have a stand that’s sturdy enough for everyday use — even in households with kids.

The stand is made from a single 5-Way PVC Cross, two 90° PVC Elbows, and a few segments of 1/2 inch PVC pipe. To finish it off, use Internal Dome Caps for a clean, professional look.

If you want to add personality, choose from our Furniture Grade color options to match your favorite sports team or home decor. The standard design supports phones in landscape mode and tablets in either portrait or landscape orientation, but you can easily adjust the pipe lengths to customize your setup.

Download the free PVC plan from the FORMUFIT PVC Library. The plan includes a printable PDF and a SketchUp file for easy customization before you build.

Could it be to much to asked, if you could just show the stand without a phone on it?
