FORMUFIT Return Policy

FORMUFIT accepts returns of new, unused PVC pipe, fittings, and accessories purchased at formufit.com. Start a return online within 30 days of purchase for a 10% restocking fee, or request a manual return from day 31 to day 60 for a 25% restocking fee. We do not offer exchanges. If we ship the wrong item or it arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 3 business days of delivery; no restocking fee applies to FORMUFIT errors.

Returns are not accepted more than 60 days after the purchase date. All returns must be new, unused, in original packaging, and packed securely. Refunds go to the original payment method.
Before You Return: Check Your PVC Size
Most returns happen because of a size mix-up. PVC is sized by nominal pipe size, not by its actual outside diameter, so a 1" fitting fits pipe with an outside diameter of about 1.315". Before starting a return, confirm your size with our PVC 101 sizing guide, the PVC pipe size dimensions chart, or the printable PVC pipe size guide.
If you ordered the wrong size, return the original items using the steps below and place a new order for the correct size. Size-related returns follow the standard restocking fees.
How to Return an Item
How to Return Items Within 30 Days of Purchase
- Log in to your FORMUFIT account with your email and a one-time code.
- Find your order and select Request Return. If you don't see the button, your order may be more than 30 days past its purchase date; see the next section.
- Choose the items you want to return. Closeout items are final sale and not eligible.
- We'll review your request and email you return instructions, usually with a prepaid return label.
- Pack the items securely in their original packaging and ship them to us.
A 10% restocking fee applies. The prepaid label cost is also deducted from your refund. Label costs depend on order size: typically $5 to $10 for fitting orders, and more for pipe because of its length and weight.
We process returns within 6 to 8 business days after they arrive at our Lenexa, KS warehouse.
Returns From Day 31 to Day 60 After Purchase
From day 31 through day 60 after your purchase date, returns are reviewed case by case. Approved returns have a 25% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. We can't accept returns more than 60 days after the purchase date.
- Email info@formufit.com with your order number and the items you want to return.
- If your return is approved, we'll reply with an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number and our return address.
- Ship the items at your own cost. We can't provide prepaid labels for returns after 30 days.
- Once we receive the items, we'll refund the balance, minus the restocking fee, to your original payment method.
Wrong, Missing, Damaged, or Defective Items
Please check the sizes, types, and quantities in your order within 3 business days of delivery. If something is wrong, missing, damaged, or defective, contact us with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll send a replacement or issue a refund as quickly as possible.
No restocking fee applies to FORMUFIT errors.
Exchanges, Refunds, and Exclusions
Does FORMUFIT Offer Exchanges?
We don't offer direct exchanges because of the added shipping and handling costs. To switch to a different size or product, start a return for the original items and place a new order for what you need.

How Long Does a Refund Take?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method after your return is received and inspected, typically within 6 to 8 business days. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit.
Restocking fees, return label costs, and original shipping charges are not refundable.
If your order shipped free through FORMUFIT ZeroShip, we won't charge you for that shipping when you return items, even if the return brings your order total below the free shipping minimum.
What Items Can't Be Returned?
- Closeout items, which are sold as-is and final sale
- Used, cut, cemented, drilled, or modified pipe, fittings, or accessories
- Items not in their original packaging
- Items more than 60 days past the purchase date
Uncut PVC pipe in new condition can be returned under the same terms as fittings and accessories.

This return policy applies only to orders placed at formufit.com.
