I have purchased this product for a number of years. The last order arrived and each 60 inch pipe for the FIRST TIME was 1/8 inch shorter and should be fairly described as NOMINALLY 60 inches. This is an issue for me because I use a full 3 inch length of clear Sch 40 pipe to construct an herbicide applicator that also helps fund a nonprofit land trust (I donate a considerable amount of my time for the effort). Now I have one 2 7/8 inch piece of pipe that I must recycle--and raise the price for each applicator as a result. Most of the applicator is made of standard Sch 40 pipe. The previous supplier also should have specified that 10 ft. lengths were nominal (by 1/4 to 1/2 inch), so I changed suppliers and now receive pipe that is up to 1/4 inch longer than specified. I would be delighted to receive material that is "bang on" the length specified. I designed herbicide applicators to leave no waste whatever but am not quite successful.
Was exactly what I wanted
