Adjustable PVC Pipe Bike Rack | FORMUFIT

Our most recent PVC project is the Adjustable PVC Bike Rack, which will turn your garage into a beautiful line of vehicles, rather than a pile of bikes, scooters and skateboards.

Designed to be adjustable, the angled bar sections slide back and forth to fit the different type of bikes you might have in your household.  Slide one bar to the left, insert your first bike, then slide the next bar over.  Repeat this process for up to three (3) adult-sized bikes, or a mix of four (4) adult- and kid-sized bikes.

The basic plan comes in a 20” deep, by 32” long, so it will fit nicely into a small corner of a garage.  Of course, you can make it larger or smaller depending upon your application, just by adding additional pipe length, and more angled bar assemblies.

Another great use is for truck beds; so many of our customers have built customized PVC pipe bike racks for pickup truck beds, and this one will work just as well.  It could easily fastened to the bed of a truck using our Table Caps, or simply lashing it to the bed with hooks.

Assembly is simple.  Using only 30-feet (3x 10-foot sections, or 6x 5-foot sections) of PVC pipe, the project uses only three PVC fitting components: 1-1/4” 3-Way Elbows (F1143WE), 1-1/4” 90 Degree Elbows (F11490E) and 1-1/4” PVC Slip Tees (F114STE).
