Smart, Space-Saving Design

Built from 1-1/4 in. Furniture Grade PVC pipe and 3-Way, 4-Way, and 5-Way PVC fittings, this rack creates a clean, modular grid for storing your bins. The design is just 18–20 inches deep, maximizing storage while minimizing the floor space it takes up—perfect for garages, basements, or utility rooms.

The rack is fully modular, allowing you to expand it horizontally by adding more columns or sections. It’s also elevated off the ground, keeping your storage safe in cases of light flooding. Since PVC won’t rust or mold, this project is ideal for damp or humid spaces.

Bin Requirements and Capacity

Each bin should measure at least 18” long, no more than 16” wide, and up to 16” high. We recommend a maximum load of 75 lbs per bin. For long-term durability, secure all pipe and fittings using PVC cement to ensure tight, permanent connections.
