FORMUFIT Helps Create an Allergy-Friendly “Teal Pumpkin” Halloween Table
Halloween can be a tricky time for kids with food allergies — but thanks to creative parents like Jessica Roe, curator of the Everyday Party Magazine blog, this spooky season can be fun and inclusive for everyone. Jessica designed a Teal Pumpkin Halloween Table using FORMUFIT PVC pipe and fittings to support the Teal Pumpkin Project — a nationwide campaign that promotes non-food treats for children with allergies.
For her son’s classroom Halloween party, Jessica wanted to create a bright, safe, and welcoming display for pumpkins, candy alternatives, and decorations. She came across FORMUFIT’s popular PVC Lemonade Stand Plan on Pinterest and decided to give it a festive twist.
Using our 1-1/4” Black Furniture Grade PVC pipe and specialty fittings, Jessica built a stylish, portable display stand that served as the perfect centerpiece for the Teal Pumpkin theme.
Quick, Simple, and Allergy-Friendly
The skirt and canopy were crafted from a single twin-sized bedsheet — no sewing required — thanks to simple iron-on hems. For the tabletop, she used a cut-to-size wood panel painted with bright DecoArt white paint. The entire setup came together in just 15 minutes and was easy to transport to her son’s classroom.
The finished piece showcased teal pumpkins, allergy-friendly treats, and themed cupcakes — creating a memorable Halloween display that everyone could enjoy safely.
More Ways to Use It
After the party, Jessica repurposed the same PVC Lemonade Stand for a completely different event — a tailgating party! The portability and reusability of FORMUFIT PVC made it easy to adapt the structure for any occasion — from classroom celebrations to game-day gatherings.
