This product will only work with Schedule 40 PVC pipe. It cannot be used with Schedule 80 or Thinwall PVC pipe.
This product is specifically designed to fit common 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, which has an actual outside diameter of 0.840 in. and an average inside diameter of 0.622 in. Due to the internal-fit nature of this Internal Coupling, it will not work with other schedules of PVC pipe.
